Joshua Glass

Joshua grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, near Walden Pond, where his parents run a holistic healing center practicing various Eastern modalities. His upbringing was influenced by Eastern spiritual teachers who frequently stayed in his home.

Now, Joshua is a nature connection mentor for children, adults, and families. In 2022 and 2023, he completed an immersive apprenticeship and instructed at Twin Eagles Wilderness School in Idaho. There, he mentored youth and families in nature skills like fire making, shelter building, wild foraging, and animal tracking. He also assisted in programs including modern rites of passage for boys and Father-Son wilderness experiences.

Recently, Joshua was the primary Land Steward for the Traditional Dream Factory in Alentejo, Portugal, where he managed reforestation and food gardens. Before this, he spent 12 years in arts and culture, studying photography, cinema, social design, and community building, and earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Maastricht, Netherlands.

Joshua aims to help people develop deep personal relationships with nature and thrive within its constant changes. He is currently based in Portugal, working with children at Into The Wild.
